Day 4 ~ NYC BY Michelle

Our day in NYC was fun filled!!! We took a train from Newark NJ TO PENN Station. When we got off the first thing we saw was Madison Square garden. Ryan was so excited that we were standing there. He even tried to get us tickets to a hockey game there tonight.

It was so exciting to be standing in the streets of New York City, seeing all the tall buildings all around. We couldn't wait to see everything we just didn't know where to begin.

We headed for the Empire State Building, Let's just say we may have taken a wrong turn and passed it, but walking the streets was all part of the experience.

We finally got there and got our tickets and started up.... and guess who we saw?????

The top was amazing, it was crazy seeing all those Buildings and I got my first glimpse of the Statue of Liberty!!!
Next we jumped in a cab and headed towards the Bronx to see Yankee stadium. On the way we passed Harlem & got a look at that.

It's definatly a different way of life, People seem like they work so hard just to get from one place to the next. Cab ride was interesting...........but we got there looked around and were dissapointed that we didn't get to take a tour.

Ground zero ~ by Brandon- Okay you cant just drive to new york and not see ground zero. So finally after rideing the tram for half hour and seeing a few tramatizing sights. When we got there they were doing construction and making monuments for the towers. And they were also Re-building the world trade center but only building on building and a total differnt look also. But if it was up to me I would build two buildings that looked just looked like the old ones.

Little Italy~ Stopped to eat some NEW YORK Pizza. Tasted just as good as you can imagine!! (so I heard, I had a subway sandwich from next door)
Time square ~ By Brandon- Times square was fun and interesting but it so crowded! On our way back Ryan did some moves that almost killed us. Frist he runs in front of a moving bus. And then runs in front of a fast moving car leaving me behind.


Oh what a fun day........ to be continued!!!!
