Oh What do you do in the summertime?

Ryan get's a Summer Job!!

OK so a few months ago Ryan decides to get a job at Jason's deli after a mutual activity where they learned how to apply fore a job. His Young men's leader took them all out to just "pick up applications" to practice on. Well Jason's hired on the spot. Then June came along and he left town for a month and went to EFY and Grandma's house and when he came back surprisingly enough they filled his spot (little life lesson hopefully learned). Then he decided to go to Texas Roadhouse they also hired him on the spot. So now he really works hard busing tables (hopefully another life lesson on what kind of job you don't want when you grow up). So there you have it something to keep him busy for the summer and make some hard earned cash!!

Oh by the way he absolutely hated me taking pictures of him going to work. LOL

4th of July fun

Yesterday we celebrated the Holiday by spending time at our neighborhood pool. Randy and boys played water games all day while I soaked up the sun.

Baseball and fireworks with friends

Later we went to the Rockhounds baseball game which is a semi-professional baseball team here in Midland. We went with our friends the Russells and the Ashtons. The fireworks were awesome but it was very crowded as you can see we are "enjoying" the "cheap seats". Notice the little boy peeking up from behind my head. HA HA

What is there to do in Midland TX?

Well Grandma & Grandpa brought Ryan and Brandon home at the end of June and they stayed for a week. Trying to think of things to do in Midland that haven't been done before was a little tricky. So we took them to the newly restored childhood Home of George W. Bush. It was very well done. The boys were so tempted to try and ride Georges old trike but we wouldn't want to be the ones to brake it!!
