In January we had our annual "New beginnings" Our theme this year was "Everything I need to know I learned in Young women's". It turned out awesome. We had all these old fashioned school desks brought in and the "teacher" gave a lesson on the new value "Virtue". We also had a "show n tell" where the moms focused on their daughters , it turned out to be a big success

2 short weeks later our ward was in charge of the Stake Priest / Laurel activity. The Laurels and I decided that we would host a Murder mystery dinner. It turned out to also be a huge success. It was a lot of work getting the whole thing organized but everyone had a lot of fun so it was well worth it. I played the part of Mrs. White the maid and no I was not the murderer.

Here are are the actors lined up at the end while all the teams tried to decide who committed the murder, after they had the chance to interview us all.
Both boys have been winding down on there Basketball seasons, it has been a blast watching them play this year.

Valentines day...... Someone told Ryan that girls like it if you do something thoughtful and creative for them so Ryan spent 2 hours in my craft room making a valentine for a girl he met a EFY last year. The next day he mailed it to her with a T- shirt that said Runnin Rebels (basketball tshirt). She recieved the package a few days later and she loved it. So he was pretty proud of himself.

Meanwhile brandon was in the kitchen whipping us a batch of valentine cookies. They were oh so very yummy!!!

Michelle,
I was wondering when the bloggers would be back that I stalk! LOL. The Young Women activity and murder mystery all sounded really fun. Wish I was there. Looks like your teaching the boys the "tricks of the trade" of pleasing the young ladies, good for you.
